That remark toward Bernice was uncharacteristically VICIOUS.

And Well Deserved.

Puddles be like: “I think Luann just insulted you..”

I think Puddles is preparing to dash when Bernice hits Luann with the magazine.

little did they suspect Bern would have multiple guys vying for her attentions.

That’s me.

Many years ago, I shared an office with a woman. Nice enough person but I wasn’t interested. Then she started to get eye strain from working on a computer all day and her optometrist set up with glasses. The next day, I found myself thinking, “Why have I never before noticed how attractive she is?”

Our relationship didn’t change – she wasn’t interested in me. Possibly because I don’t wear glasses.

Dorothy Parker famously said, “Men seldom makes passes at girls who wear glasses”. She is rumored to have also said, less famously, that “men often make passes at girls with big…”

Friends, Green Day and Pearl Jam posters on the wall. Plus one I can’t make out. Would Luann have those? They are all pretty mainstream, so I suppose so.

As the old rhyme goes, “Guys don’t make passes at gals who wear glasses; but they will if the dames have good looking frames!”

She can dish it out as well as taking it. They deserve each other.
