    Maybe last time

For those interested – I would still be banned if I had not contacted GoComics. Apparently they forgot to schedule me to be reinstated… SO – if you are under suspension, contact them.

And I am no wiser! Without an explanation, I have no idea what I should NOT do in the future.

And if you are concerned about their policy of banning people, without notification or explanation, contact them and let them know how you feel about such policy.

    contact info: moderator@gocomics.com

. . . . . . I will be messaging them today to try and see why I was suspended.

Mowing your lawn every other week must depend on how big your acreage is.

Regarding the bee population, have we gotten rid of the joke-killer bees here yet?

If you’re really interested in helping bees, you should look into native plants to cultivate in your lawn instead of grass. If you pick the right ones, they’ll look even better, and be just as nice to walk on without requiring mowing.

Sadly, I live in an apartment building, so all of my own gardening projects have to survive their encounters with the landscaping people the landlords bring in.

Last year I went to lawn mowing every other week to save time and money . Did not think about helping out the critter/insect population ;-)

More people live within a 50 mile radius of Manhattan, N.Y., than in all of Canada.

    Origin of Canada

The founding fathers of Canada were trying to figure out what to name the country, but they couldn’t decide on a name. They figured to put the letters of the alphabet in a hat and draw them at random.

They pulled the first letter out.

    “C eh?”

    Then the next one,

    “N eh?”

    One more,

    “D eh?”.

    C eh N eh D eh?

    Canada

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a plain map of Canada detached from anything else… my first thought was how little I knew. I seriously thought of it as a big blocky shaped thing, much like a mirror image of mainland USA.Next thought was how on earth do Canadian school children draw maps of their country?

My town is concerned about water usage and waste but still requires a well manicured lawn. They need to give us some water free options for the yard.

    ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

One night, a torrential rain storm soaked South Louisiana. The next morning the resulting floodwaters came up about 6 feet into most of the homes. Mrs. Boudreaux was sitting on her roof with her neighbor, Mrs. Thibodeaux, waiting for help to come.

Mrs. Thibodeaux noticed a baseball cap floating near the house. She saw it float far out into the front yard then float back to the house. It kept floating away from the house then back towards the house. Her curiosity got the best of her so she asked Mrs. Boudreaux, “Do you see that there baseball cap a floatin’ away from the house, then back again?”

Mrs. Boudreaux said, “Oh yeah, that’s my husband. I told Bou he gonna cut the grass today come hell or high water!”
