An old friend is taking a course about writing a memoir. At our last meeting, he related his first three chapters, in great detail. If you’re reading this, I’m talking about some other guy.

The really healthy ones would be running. It’s the old guys like me who ‘edge’ away from motor-mouths.

Reminds me of George Sheehan giving an honest and very detailed answer to “How are you?”

I have a few neighbors like him. They always seem to think I am their long lost best friend and they want to tell me every detail of their life. I know them well enough to wave as they walk by and that is all. It is always the female neighbors who are like this.
