Late afternoon is the best time for outdoor pools. It’s much warmer then.

The same reasoning is one of the main reasons I do my RUNNING at 4 a.m.!!! No traffic, and most importantly no pesky dog-walkers with mile-long leashes (or NO leashes) to interrupt me.
That’s Caulfield, the cynic. Couldn’t just add the third and most likely possibility.
Anybody else notice “scherzo” is gone? This would be a perfect opening for him!
I thought people wouldn’t be swimming much in a cold month anyway. Even indoors.
