I was expecting an owl or other predator would get the mouse.

So does panel 4 mean that she accidentally made the car run over and squash the little life she just set free? But then in panel 1 her face does look like she has been driving while a little drunk. Why else would she drive off the road being an experienced driver?

A little peanut butter on the trap….SNAP…..services are Thursday at the town dump.

Don’t worry about the tow truck driver. They’ve seen and heard it all….

Panel 5: “The other mice had seen what Elly had done, releasing their friend. Because she had done them such a good deed, they all decided to help get Elly’s car out of the snow and back onto the road! The problem was, they forgot where they put the keys for their mousy tow truck..”

The Pattersons’ accountant would have a laugh at this:

*One specialized mousetrap.

*Gas for two trips into the woods and back home.

*Roadside assistance {potentially}.

And all for one mouse. With those mounting costs, maybe hiring an exterminator would have been cheaper.

Does Elly need glasses? She has been squinting a lot lately. Check out the first panel; she is doing it again.

Who taught her to drive? We get very little snow and ice and I know not to take my eyes off the road until the car has come to a complete stop…

I hates meeses to pieces!

Outside the house, whatever, inside the house, vermin and virus carriers. A quick trap or a death trap is better than a slow death, but either way. if they are ion the house, out they go and I have had my share. Never worried too much about them outside the house. And my cat did not eat them, but did KILL them. He got rewarded.

You could get an elephant to pull the car out of the ditch…but elephants are afraid of mice….

Yeah, right, Elly. Two or three days ago you were all set to kill it.

So rather than quickly kill the mouse she instead traumatized it for hours and then left it in a frozen foreign environment will it will probably starve, die of fear, or be eaten?!

She just should’ve tossed that mouse in the backyard and been done with it!

Mice are filthy, disease-carrying rodents. Kill them.
