I’m laughing at their expressions. And Lily is being waaay too calm and reasonable. Did I not tell you two to RUN?

Update on Peppercorn: Peppercorn’s incision has healed, and he no longer has to wear the cone. He is walking better every day, but still has a limp. He does not like being confined in the cage 24/7 and meows to get out. We have to monitor him closely when he is out because he is not supposed to jump up on furniture. Actually, jumping up wuld be OK, but after that he would have to jump down, and that could mess up the healing process in his leg, where the femur is now held together with metal plates and screws. We jave to keep him confined in his cage or in a room when we are opening doors to the outside, because we know he wants to go out because he sits by the doors and looks at them sadly. We’ve ordered a new enclosure for him. It’s hexagonal, roomier, and has a floor which will help with spilled food and kitty litter. He has a kitty fountain and loves drinking from it, and we will be able to put that in his new house also. In five more weeks, he gets x-rayed and then released to run and play.

Thanks to everyone who prayed for Peppercorn and asked about him. You’re all wonderful people!

Uh oh, guys! Lily may be talking calmly but she is one ticked off kitty! You better run before she makes mincemeat out of the both of you!
