That’s it Opal. Get the most important thing done first. Then worry about the book and title.
You can’t make this stuff up
It won’t be that sweater that Earl put in the wash!
And I have chosen the outfit I’ll wear when I win the lottery.
swell
That is the way too many who decided to write the great American novel approached their writing, and failed.
Have you decided who’ll play you when they make the movie of the book?
Never underestimate the ability of the author’s blockage-demon to get them working on irrelevancies.
good to see Oval’s got her priorities straight – as usual
I have the opposite problem. I get discouraged because I’m afraid of the possibility of becoming famous and successful
Like “counting your chickens” even “before any eggs have been laid”.
Be prepared, Opal, as a good girl guide.
Isn’t that the purple sweater Earl washed?
It’s a start!
I think that someone is putting the cart before the horse.
Piece o’ cake, Opal. Now that you’ve got the weighty decisions made, why, I betcha that book will practically write itself. Which is likely the only way it’ll ever git writ. Pulitzer anyone?
Perspiration vs inspiration: so far she’s only touched the smaller part.
Being WAY too optimistic, aren’t we, Opal?
How many purple sweaters does she have?
still trying to get that stupid horse to push my cart—-maybe the horse should go first
Don’t count your chickens………
Lemme guess. It’s a sweater, isn’t it?
Purple polka dot blouse and bunny slippers.
Happy Mardi Gras everybody!!
Oy! Opal is really planning ahead! The next big decision will be picking out her stationary and pens….
It’s a start, Opal.
Right on!
Yes, which of your lavender polka dot blouses or dresses will you choose?
Priorities must be followed!!
kinda reminds me of my son writing essays in HS… no topic, no hook for the first line, no outline, but he had the font chosen
What a purple shirt with dots?
I’d suggest no 3 year olds and lots of cute little animals willing to eat each other alive to increase their personal wealth.
It’s all about the art. Paint something then write the story.
I’m going to guess a purple blouse with a purple sweater.
Begin with the end in mind. Not like that, though.
Isn’t she wearing the sweater that shrunk?
