1. Early bird is running late today.

For those who come in late, these fabulous fun funnies was envisioned and executed so beautifully and brilliantly by FoXo Reardon, a true master cartoonist who told his funny tales with his awesome artwork alone, without any of his characters in BOZO ever saying a single word.

An especially excellent epitome of pictures speaking thousand words, BOZO also the most pleasant picturesque pantomime where every panel is like a photograph of a three-dimensional cartoon world of realistic-looking depths and details. Such was his powerful perspective artwork which brought to life a lovely lively world of BOZO!

The apple gag reminds me that as a kid in the 50s we would never eat an apple in the dark, because after every bite you had look at the apple to see if half a worm was sticking out. We may complain about pesticides, but they ended that problem.

1. Wants the biggest apple. A ladder makes it so. Finds the worm did get there first. It’s quick to let him know.

2. Old shoes not so fine. Still, they get a shine.

3. Tub time becomes a shower. Drip dry next to his glower.

1. Forbidden fruit?

2. Sandal shod.

3. Laundry done.

“First choice” – seems to always work out like that .

1. Can’t tell a book by it’s cover nor a pretty ripe apple. I see you Fuzzy. 2. Mommy look at that poor man – Hush baby but see his shiny old shoes? I see you Fuzzy. 3. Forgot to turn shower off Bozo. Now ringing wet. I see you Fuzzy.

1) Fuzzy summer roof skiing.

2) Bozo leaves the door open, and Fuzzy passes by.

3) Fuzzy also hanging on a clothesline .

2) Nice that Bozo is secure enough in his masculinity to give himself a pedicure and show it off wearing old broken-down shoes!

3) Bozo attempts to fix a leak and gets a shower for his trouble!

Umbrella Man:

1st Strip, 2nd panel in the top panel. Our guy is skiing off the top of a building. Umbrella Man is one weird dude.

Umbrella Man:

2nd Strip, 2nd panel, leaving Bozo’s house with whatever his light fingers saw fit to take with him.

3rd Strip, last panel: The Man is either jumping from one building to another one or he’s taken a magic potion that has made him very, very small so that he’s able to hang off of Bozo’s clothesline.

1. Apple worm is unappealing.

3. Feets clean, and now clothes are clean too.

FIRST CHOICE- AH the beauty of the apple out of reach, but the beauty is shamed by the apple’s worm. FEET FIRST- Bozo shining those piggies wearing “Flip Flops” (I know “Flip Flops” come years later.) But the ladies do take notice, but not in an interested way. ALL WET- Going to wash those “Footsies” but the shower washes Bozo. (Fuzzy seems to be very athletic, skiing of the roof of the shed. Hanging outside Bozo’s house. And hanging on the clothes line to dry out.)

“All Wet” reminds me of after my grandson takes a shower and leaves the plunger on the fawcett up. I always check when I get in the shower.
