    Trouble that supercali- etc. etc. isn’t a word. I mean, it can’t be a word. Words don’t have derivational affixes in mid-word.

    I had the original recording of the “Mary Poppins” soundtrack and the word original ended with “docus.” Someone realized it would be pronounced with a hard "c"and changed the end to “docious.” I learned this change when I was a teacher trying to show my students I knew how to spell the word.
