Heart of the City by Steenz for March 01, 2023

Well it was fun while it lasted. I wonder if the other kid got suspended from the team as well? Since the team apparently is not very good, at least that is what Dean inferred when he got shoved yesterday, I doubt if Dean just picked a fight with the next Larry Bird or Michael Jordan so my guess is “01” just got kicked off the team as well and now Dean will have to watch his back if this kid holds a grudge.

Yesterday, the athlete was number 03. Now he’s 01, the same as Dean.

But without a mascot, how will they win? Oh, right. The players.

Maybe he can be the mascot for the hockey team.

That’s not fair! The other guy clearly started it!

Well.. that escalated quickly. I didn’t remotely see that coming and honestly thought this arc would go on longer. I mean it’s “for the season” and their in this grade indefnitely until whenever Steenz decides to bump them up one, and likely middle school forever and always, so he’ll be back at it it’s just.. weird storytelling unless their planning something else from here.
