Don’t worry, it was just a Chinese spy balloon.

Okay, now worry,

Fifty seven and a half years later and still no aliens. I’m starting to get bored!

sheesh they predicted the balloon in the 60s!

Probably just Santa testing next year’s sleigh.

Maybe the ant got mooned?

Was this mysterious flying object anywhere near a belfry?

That old and still applicable? Truly prescient.

“It’s a balloon running TikTok with a Racoon-Dog piloting it!”

“Meh, it’s nothing…”

We were deep in the cold war and yet, the world felt safer.

Yeah, who cares….

I fought the cold war and we won. I guess peace in the worlds, is just too boring for the youth of today. So they are bringing the cold war back. Oh what fun?

If you think about it, this strip was taken over that day by somebody so that it teaches us to forget that we saw anything in the sky. We have to let our government do its job to keep us safe!

I remember my uncle running to his bomb shelter every time Sputnik flew over. He even had it timed. Barked at us for watching saying it was beaming communist thoughts into our brains. Once the US put one up he stopped. The US he said is countering the effects of that Soviet satellite by beaming good capitalist thoughts into our brains. XD
