Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble had better stone wheel ‘motor’ bikes.

On a trip to Hilton Head, we decided to rent kayaks. The man said, “Do you want singles or the divorce model”. We chose the singles. (Figured out later they made more money on the singles).

There’s nothing silly about tandems in serious riding. Twice the leg power with barely more than single wind resistance. About the same as a single going uphill, but often referred to as “trains” going downhill.

Thought provoking, since there are two riders it is a tandem bicycle, but it would just be a plain bicycle with one rider. Tandem bikes are two wheeled so the difference is the second rider. Tricycles are three wheeled, but one wheeled cycles are unicycles, not monocycles, but the important thing is, can you have a two rider (tandem) unicycle, and the answer is, yes. One person rides above the other.
