Does the Internet say you’re giving advice the wrong way, Baldo?

I tried that once and the trash bag was so full of air, that it stayed up like a chef’s hat.

The way you scarf down Tia Carmen’s empanadas Baldo. Would think you wouldn’t ever want her to change how she makes them.

Well Baldo, you’re more than welcome to put the trash bag in the trash can. As for the empanades, I’m sure you’ll agree Tia Carmen does a much better job.

Baldo? You need to watch the clip on the internet that warns you not to believe everything you see on the internet… In fact, you might be better off not believing any ideas that only crop up there.

Recently, I was watching a video on YouTube of Yo-Yo Ma playing Bach’s Suite for Solo Cello No. 1. A commenter said, “He’s holding the cello wrong. I know because I’m a YouTube commenter.”

I’ve seen that reel about the trash and others telling me I’m making something the wrong way. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

i like to shake the bag open, then grab it by its base, this next step it a bit tricky but you toss the base into the can while still holding the top of the bag guilding it into the can, then fold the bag over the rim of the bag

It looks like Sergio’s doing it the same way I do — shake it open, then put the edges of the bag around the top of the basket, without putting my hand inside. I think it’s more sanitary that way.

That is dumb. Doing it that way, air pressure makes it difficult, if not impossible, to push the bag into place. The right way to do it is to inflate the bag by sweeping its open mouth through the air, then bunch the end to trap the air, and push the inflated bag into the can before snugging the open mouth around the lip. As far as “telling someone who’s actually in the process of making you food they’re doing it wrong” goes, well, if you’re that dumb there’s no hope for you.

My favorite advice on the internet tells me (and everyone else over 50) we’re wearing the wrong clothes.

Reminds me of my older brother. Back in the day, he told my mother she was making the soup wrong. So, my mother told him to take over. He quickly scurried away.

Correcting the trash bag insertion is one thing, correcting Tia Carmen’s Empanada technique is not a good idea, internet or not.
