By the time I get down to there I almost forget what I was doing. It would be faster if they let us type it in.

These young kids have it so easy!

I made an online job application recently. As part of many online job applications employers take supposedly anonymous demographics for the purposes of tracking who they hire vs. who applies.

On one application, I was asked to select the year of my birth. The lowest year they had was 1948. I clicked the box above it.

One of my birthdays is marked by Roman numerals; it is XLVI and my experience is that most younger people have no clue how to read it! OY!

You know you are old when almost everything hurts, and what doesn’t hurt doesn’t work.

And everything is either dried up or leaking.

At least they could make a wheel sound when you spin it.

(OK, that was insulting… ☺)

What’s amazing is how many of those things have the first listed birthdate as 2023. I don’t think newborns are filling out applications.

Holy Cow! So true! Whenever I fill out something that needs my birth year I hate having to make several big spins on the wheel! lol

I have never had to find my birthyear on a wheel. It’s always a scroll.

After a certain date though one could become proud of their age and birth date.
