Because nobody was watching her

Good thing Farley’s ears have LONG hair.

So in panel 2, that cat with the black ears that she let out of the bag was actually Farley? What has that got to do with the scissors story line?

Didn’t know John was home. Why wasn’t HE watching her??

Poor Farley! You better catch her before she does something awful to her own hair.

I think what might have been a clue, seeing the backside(from our point of view)Farley MIGHT have given her a clue ! ! !

You generally don’t see Elly move that quickly unless there’s a “buy one get one free” special on butter tarts or treacle..

One year I worked the Christmas season at an up-scale department store and received a Liberty of London scarf as a gift. It was a Piet Modrian design, all done in pastels. I could never have afforded one myself and wore it proudly.

My daughter – the same one who drank the ink – carefully cut into to strips, neatly following the lines. And, yes, I was in the same room! I was cutting out a dress and I suppose she was just doing what I was doing. I didn’t notice until she had cut it into thirds.

She can see the signs.

Better stay out of it, bucko. Yo were suppose to be watching her, after all.

I do not understand the commenters here who say the parents should have been watching her. She’s playing quietly in the house. Are you seriously saying that parents should stare at their children 24/7?

LOL… Can’t wait to see Aprils new haircut.

I’m thinking the sudden rash of shorter stuff has given her a big clue.

Two accidents waiting to happen:

1.) April with scissors.

2.) Elly running with her eyes closed.

Canadians don’t have guns. Well not like our neighbours to the south do. Scissors are bad enough.

Most toddlers aren’t dexterous enough to use scissors correctly yet.

This is the unkindest cut of all.

It’s a good thing she didn’t cut his ear! Scary.

She cut off the dog’s ear?

THANK GOD she just got baby Farley’s FLOOF!!!
