This is going great!

Plot twist: She’s giving him the cheez doodles because she actually hates them, and that’s when Nate will decide the crush is over

fella’s, let’s look at the facts here. before I can begin, we must look back at Nates past girlfriends: Angie, Kelly, and Gertrude (Trudy). notice a pattern? all their names end with an EE sound, even Nates former longtime crush was JENNY, definitive EE sound. another factor that plays a part in this, if you haven’t noticed; starting from Angie, Nate has had a girlfriend once every decade, Angie in the late 90’s, Kelly in the early 2000’s, and Trudy in the 2010’s, it is now 2023, so he is due for another one. I can’t say for sure for Trudy or Kelly, but Angie is shown to have a liking for Cheez Doodles. now understand, Daphne fits every category I described. I do believe this is a girlfriend arc in the works.

This is just oddly wholesome, like, it’s not really funny (tho Nate’s face at the cheez doodles, like he’s in love with them too, like this is the deal sealer to date this girl, is kinda funny XD). I just enjoy seeing these two together, and it’s not easy to say as a Nate Dee Dee shipper, so full props to Pierce!
