Wanda all you can hope for is that next year will be better.

If Wren has diarrhea, why is she at the ER with Hammie?

I expected her to say, “And I’m pregnant again.”

Hammie took a bite out of life and life bit back

And for Wanda, this IS a happy Mother’s Day. Because it could have been so, so much worse.

To all the mom’s out there, Happy Mother’s day!

Mother’s Day should be year round. Especially single parents, who have to be mom and dad. Happy Mothers Day!

Spending Mother’s Day being a mom.

Uhh… Why did Hammie needed stitches on his lips?

Since Wren has her leg up in the air and has Diarrhea, I’m going to presume that she just drained her diaper on the floor.

Hammie needs to apply plenty of pressure on that lip ‘cause if it’s a normal ER, they’ll be their a couple more hours before the get to him.

Just remember, at some point the two of you thought having kids was a good idea…

Ah yes, the real and oh so glamorous world of parenthood. Any empty nester that says they miss all of this needs to have their heads examined.

My hospital visits, with three exceptions, have been limited to visiting others. My second experience, between birth and having an infected boil lanced, was essentially what Hammie is going through here. It was so scary and unpleasant that I’m sure that’s why I’ve been to hospitals for treatment just those three times.

And why did Hammie need stitches to his lip? Do I even want to know?

Me own saintly mither was unimpressed by “Mothers Day”, however punctuated. Her view was that if she wasn’t to some degree appreciated the rest of the time, one day of coerced “appreciation” was more of an insult than a celebration.

They don’t really need to all be there together. If Darryl was a little more thoughtful, he would have said to Wanda, “Well, it’s Mother’s Day, so you should have your choice: take Hammie to the ER, or stay home with Wren’s diarrhea and Zoe’s meltdown?” (And if she stays home and he makes the trip to the ER, he should make a stop on the way home for flowers and/or candy — if he hasn’t gifted her with such items already.)

And they say being a mother is hard work.

(They’re right.)

Sometimes it sucks no matter which option you take. Happy Mother’s Day, all!

Just wait until Father’s Day. :) Maybe Darryl will a day even more fun than this Mother’s Day was. ;)

On Father’s Day,the sporting event they bought expensive tickets for will be rained out

Well at least it’s not your b-day! I had to spend my 12th sitting in a hospital when my brother broke his arm.

Omg stitches in your lip would hurt something awful! I’ve had them in my chin and that was incredibly painful.
