But the doctor either lost his “Blue Check Mark” or he is an impostor.

When my spouse was having some serious vision problems, the doctor named several possibilities, including what would be the worst case. He said, “I’m telling you that because when you go on the web and see it you won’t think I was holding back information”.I had already googled the symptoms and that was the first answer that came up. And it was unfortunately correct.

But the way your eyes are moving.. you could have flatfishitis and are turning into a flounder. Stay out of the pool and take two aspirins.

Actually, having something unusual is very difficult for the patient. A good physician will not give up until they figure out what is the problem. This includes referrals to specialists.

You’ve used up your allotted 15 minutes so pay your bill, get out, and book an appointment for next year. See you then if you’re still alive.

Either that, or it’s something entirely new that will kill you – but you’ll die knowing you’ve gone down in history because it’s been named after you…

Sadly and scarily, I don’t think this is too far-fetched and getting more popular every day, docs and PAs who reach for the computer to look up your symptoms and hopefully come up with a diagnosis and treatment. I presume and sincerely hope that they’re going to websites designed specifically for physicians.
