Hmmm … so, we’re all hoping to become Brewster Rockit reader laureates?

lau·re·ate noun: a person who is honored with an award for outstanding creative or intellectual achievement.

Sorry, Cliff. You’re definitely not a laureate.

Sorry, Cliff, engineers don’t get to be laureates. Maybe emeritus when they’ve very, very old and retired. But, lazy ones like you are lucky to still be working for a salary.

There’s no such thing as a lazy engineer, at least in college. That is one of the hardest majors out there.

If that’s the definition then I know several postal management laureates.

Better to give him a splenectomy and reassign him to Dr. Mel and let Winky ( or Blinky or whatever) do the engineering.

As we prepare Artificial Intelligence to take over the boring and laborious duties of life, Cliff leads the way toward our preferred future.

(If you don’t prefer it, you are of the past and can probably work out your days there.)

Poet laureates have to write poems for special occasions at least.
