Nothing is more helpful for wrapping presents than cats, and by “nothing” I mean “literally everything”. Fourth panel is a laugh-out-loud!

I lose the tape often enough as it is without a very large floofbeast plonking herself down upon it.

Be it known that I will be taping a copy of this to every present I wrap and give henceforth.

What a dream team indeed! I absolutely love each and every one of these lovelies. From getting in the box, eating tape or the paper? Then helping to prepare everything else. She has no idea how lucky she is to have all these little helpers.

The Woman looks almost dismayed at the sight of her helpers. It’s as though she thinks she’s doomed.

Another stellar sunday strip.. especailly the woman’s “Uhhh” as she knwos EXACTLY what she’s about to deal with.

OT: Our intruder finally goes home. After a few days, I got a phone call from someone who was at work but said a friend had seen our posters of a found cat. She texted me photos, and it was the kitten we had in our spare bedroom, and that her name was Melody, but she answered to Kitten. I was very pleased and looking forward to her being picked up, but it took several more days. The owner said that she had to go away from an emergency, and we ultimately looked after her for 3 more days, getting rather worried we’d never give her back to her real owner.

Finally, she dropped by at lunchtime today, just before we were going out, and explained that she’d had to see her mother in Woy Woy. She said Melody had been with a friend who couldn’t keep her, and was about to be sent to the pound, so she took her. She’s clearly very fond of the kitten, and giving her back safe and sound was a lovely feeling, as sad as it was to see her go.

I love it when cats help out. What would we silly People ever do without them?

They are doing exactly what we expect them to do.

The author clearly has lots of experience trying to wrap presents in the presence of cats. XD

She forget the allure of ribbon and bows – decorative cat toys. Curling ribbon is like catnip, and pre-fab bows are fun to bat around.

It seems that the “dream team” is broken down into pairs: Puck and Ora Zella, Elvis and Iggy, Goldie and Lupin.

It gets hard to accomplish things when a pack of adoring “assistants”

I think the six helpers will be mainly supervising and not so much assisting.

Lupin does like to slurp things down.

Well that’s one way to lower the cat population. Gift a cat. It even has a catchy name.

I disagree with Goldie, I kind of like the sound scissors make. She is probably wrapping a gift for the Nana, who certainly understands the trials of these cats, Elvis most of all.

Ora Zella in the last panel reminds me of a bug. Not the July bug, but they do have similar natures. I wonder if we will see her interacting with Jules.
