Even though I no longer feel the hideous pain of losing a child, today marks the 22nd anniversary of my older daughter’s death. She was 33 and way too young! (Some of you know I lost my younger daughter, a cop, 28 years ago.)

The only time I wear headphones is if I’m on a plane. When wearing sunglasses and speaking to someone, I take them off so I can make eye contact.

Aunty, wear them both all the time and make us all happy.
