Looks like Wallace has mastered pew pews from his fingertips while he’s talking.

I have the same reaction to this strip as the Grandson had after the Grandfather read to him:

“Since the invention of the kiss, there have been five kisses that have been rated the most passionate, the most pure – this one left them all behind.”

The little things mean the most…

That little acorn for being Best Friend is certainly more important than the trophies although its significance will have to be explained to others.

Seagull in panel 3 made me chuckle.

When I ran the cub scout pinewood derby for many years, I’d order ribbons along with trophies. As a bonus, they’d send me a bunch of green “I Did My Best” ribbons, which I tossed in the trash. They’re just “I’m Not Good Enough” ribbons.

“Improved” is a good thing is when you’re on a handicap league, like bowling.

Spud is easily impressed. Wallace impresses people easily. They make a team.

Everybody is good at something.

Well, at least there isn’t a “Never Been Indicted!” trophy on the shelf.

I think Wallace needs his own star on an acorn trophy because he is indeed the best friend Spud could ever want. Or anyone really, that little dude rocks the Casbah!

There was an episode of The Simpsons where Homer’s mental stability was questioned. It all worked out in the end, and Homer got a Certificate proclaiming him NOT INSANE ! … (Homer was SO proud!!) … :)

I wish I had a best friend relationship like those two… Wow!

One has to wonder at some point exactly WHAT Wallace sees in Spud. . .

I still have an old basketball jersey, football jersey, team pictures, and other goodies from my time. Also most of my military awards. Some things are worth keeping, some not, but I keep them all.

I like how (in the 4th panel) Seagull’s head is squared off – goes with Wallace’s arms :^)..

Spud, a child of the times. I’m not a fan of the “there are no winners, everybody is a winner!” philosophy but I get a big chuckle out of the last panel. And the funny pink-striped bunny suit in the previous pane. :D

Now I wonder which one means the most… :)
