What was record exactly? “Longest time until…” or “Shortest time until…”

I’d be careful about swimming there if I was you. (Cue in theme music from “Jaws”.) You never know what’s swimming in those waters B.C..

Why not go for a swim break? Since he was holding the fishing pole from the wrong end, it wasn’t likely that he would have caught much fish anyways.

Why on earth would he want to go fishing with someone like that?

All that splashing about will scare off the fish. Any fish it doesn’t scare of would likely necessitate a bigger boat…

Talk about disturbing the fish!

Jon boat fishing isn’t for the fidgety. I tried pole and bobber fishing number of times but just couldn’t hack the long inactivity. Really enjoyed learning fly fishing, but could only stay in those areas a couple of days at a time, so that faded, too.

Hey, it’s a great way to wake up the fish and make them remember they’re hungry.

Watch for the ice flows.

This body of water looks like the Fairfield Reservoir Pond. You can put in your boat, you can fish in it, but you can’t swim in it.

No fish dinner for that guy, scared the fish away again.

Are you sure you want to swim next to a fishing hook?
