I use Merlin. It’s amazing.

I use BirdNet. It is great fun.

Hubby uses Merlin with amazing results. Problem is, it’s hard to go anywhere because he dawdles with his phone out in the parking lot.

I learned so many new birds using Merlin! The shy ones that hang out in the treetops and are hard to see, it picks their little voices right up. Also, did you know the number of “dees” in a chickadee call correspond to the perceived threat level? They have different calls for owls, cats, and so on.

You’re a guy and you needed an app to ID a gas powered leaf blower model?
