Cowbird?

I love the chubby redbird bottom left.

Seagull doesn’t have something to add?

I like the bird who is tweeting upside down.

Some of them just whistle, because they don’t know the words.

Cool Lesson to learn

Reminds me of a song I knew as a kid:-

“The elephant is a funny bird,

It flits from bough to bough,

It builds its nest in a rhubarb tree,

And whistles like a cow."

Here, we have a real bird who sounds like a cow.

I like the “tweet” in upper left. Looks like a mouse. Tufted titmouse, perhaps?

Oddly, Merlin couldn’t identify any of these birds.

Downloaded the Merlin app that identifies birds by the noise they make. I now know that the pileated woodpecker is the thing that makes the jungle bird noises.

No catbird going ‘Mew’?

I don’t have time right now to study all the details here, but great art….. again!

Cowbirds are one of several species that lay their eggs in other bird’s nests. They (and the other parasitic species) could go extinct and I’d not shed a tear.

Seagull looks like he’s getting a gut.
