My grocery store carries grape seltzer, but, sadly, it just for a month or so in summer.

There used to be a soft drink brand called Hansen’s. When it came on sale I would buy cases of it and you should do the same when that grape seltzah comes available. I have a small few cans left. Cherry-vanilla was a big favorite.

I guess I’m the “Annie” in my house, always feeding cats.

    Today is:

NATIONAL FAMILY FUN DAY. My family fun day will be August 19th when I have my birthday party with all of my siblings except a certain one. Some of my nieces and nephews will be there too.

NATIONAL HAMBURGER DAY. Hamburger day will also be August 19th, along with brats and potato chips and other assorted stuff (that’s brats as in bratwurst, not brats as in bratty kids – LOL)

    NATIONAL BEEF BURGER DAY

    NATIONAL BRISKET DAY

Is there a Nobel literature prize for cats? I nominate Oliver!! This weekend is Bishop’s Mule Days celebration – the biggest in the world! I NEVER miss the parade, except for yesterday. I get frequent headaches, but only one or two migraines a year, and yesterday morning had to be one of those days. Really wiped out today from being sick all day, and so disappointed to miss the parade. But putting it in perspective, I don’t live in a war zone or have a debilitating disease.

Tigger meows just heading toward the kitchen…he’s perpetually hungry…and meows and meows until I sit down, because he knows he’s not getting anything…yet! He is sooooo spoiled though! ☺️

I will feed you, Oliver, come on over!

Mouse’s kittens are doing well. She started letting me handle them yesterday. I want to start socializing them now, getting them used to petting and being held. Right now, I’m only doing it once or twice a day.

They can come here. The cupboard is always stocked with snacky treats.

That’s a good tip. It’s nice that Oliver appreciates what Annie does for him and the other kitties. (Unlike a certain orange loudmouth.) On another note, saw eight robins, a sparrow, a spotted towhee, and two juncos while out walking today.
