    Hmmm… they must not have a field for the girls, so they’re using the boy’s baseball field. I’ve never seen a mound in softball.

    Gracie sounds like a woman I know who calls it lucky when someone else achieves their fitness goal through hard work and self control, 2 things she isn’t willing to do for her health.

    I read the strip and as I leaving my understanding of it changed.

    At first I read it as every time this girl throws the ball as pitcher the player from Gracie’s team misses.

    As I went to leave it dawned on me that what she meant was that if this girl was the pitcher for a game Gracie’s team loses as her team misses the ball. Not that each individual time she pitches the ball they lose.

    Which was meant?
