Boy, Spud is high maintenance.

They rehearsed this. Spud’s the distraction, while Wallace makes his getaway on the old rowboat hidden under the pier.

You can tell Wallace is surprised by his wonky eyes. Also I’m sure it’s cringy since it’s in front of EVERYBODY.

Nice parenting…obviously had a tail on him since the discussion.

A true LOL moment here! Spud swooning into a dead faint off the pier. Love this!

Mr. Will has such amazing graphic creativity! Just look at the text in this one; the bold GROUNDED, the outline letters of MAWM!, Spud’s cursive ‘gasp’. and the best one, the ‘SPOLsh’ that looks like water balloons. Compare it to any other comic!

When I was Wallace’s age a girl I knew conned me into going to the local fairgrounds during the exhibition then asked me to tell her mom that she was at my house. Her mom freaked on me and demanded that I be grounded. I was grounded for a month until my NM got tired of hearing me sigh.. mid summer, come on! It wasn’t her idea and didn’t serve her to ground me so she dropped the charges and let me go out.
