Wren’s portable sand pile. Used to be Hammie always has pants full of sand o dirt.

Her happy place includes an order of McDonald’s French fries.

After a day at the beach, I can empathize with Wren; sand in all the cracks and crevices really is uncomfortable

Yeesh! How much sand can her diaper hold?

After playing in our sandbox (actually a big tractor tire) my siblings and i had to remove our shoes and socks, turn our pockets inside out, and pul our waist bands out and shake our pants in the sandbox before coming back into the house. Then had to take everything off in the back entry before entering the kitchen. Was always a small pile of sand that mom swept up.

That’s one way to do it, turn the baby upside down and shake.

Well be thankful Wren didn’t find a buried cat p$$p.

When we were stationed at Fort Ord, CA our son would come home with sand in his shoes and pockets every day. It was a good time in our lives.

Looked to me more like she was resetting an Etch-a-Sketch.

At least Wanda got there before the daggers, bombs and pound signs showed up….

You can get the same thing at the beach

Mom always said to put the sandbox as far from the back door as possible. That way the sand will shake out of clothes before the kids come into the house.
