My dogs try to eat the dried up sidewalk worms on our walk every morning. It is a hassle trying to keep them from engaging in the smorgasbord. I just don’t understand the appeal. They know they have a nice breakfast waiting for them at home.
Last year, when it rained, I saved dozens of worms and I put them into my above ground garden. This year, even though it has been in the forecast many times, it hasn’t rained.

Saved them for what? Fishing?

When I rode my bicycle I used to try to avoid driving over animals. Worms, slugs, caterpilars…

I always pick up a stray worm on my deck and put it into my flower pot. I think they get lost and that’s why they wind up outside the pot.

Is Lola a “first responder”, or an “early bird”?
