Brutus how can you teach something that you can’t do yourself ?

There’s a few drivers I’d like to hit.

I thought he loved Wilberforce.

On the farm, during hay bailing season, boys with long enough legs were allowed to drive the flat bed trucks. This allowed the men to be free to toss the bails on the truck.

Just as bad in some ways due to the expenses of golf but if he is good and enjoys it, maybe he could turn pro. Good luck …..

It’s a valuable skill, doncha know. Golf course is where all the real business gets done. Now if Brutus can get himself and Wilberforce into a foursome with Veeblefester, the boy might end up with a job out of college. Of course, given Brutus, the boy will end up Brutus’ new supervisor….

Those who can’t, teach. But can you trust to be taught the right way?

And to answer your question Gladys, yes he did lose his mind.

Kids need time with each parent alone, and each parent needs a little time alone too.

Kids a lot younger than him have learned to golf. Tiger woods was 18 months old when he first picked up a golf club. Arnold Palmer was just four when he started.

Good for Brutus! Wilberforce expressed a desire in a previous strip to be a pro golfer, and Brutus is training him to eventually do just that.

Brilliant Chip, absolutely brilliant, and funny. It took me quite a while to finally figure it out! Once I got it I laughed and exclaimed “Brilliant”…

Either way, humans could be harmed.

Sorry Brutus, but if he wants to be a pro he should learn from someone who knows what he is doing.

I used to take a couple of clubs to a local softball field… I would use a driver to hit the balls out to varying distances, then, depending on the distance, I would use an iron to hit them back to the infield, with home plate being the “green.” It cost me nothing, and was a good way to see if I might enjoy it, and had any potential.
