Speaking of security cameras, what’s the metric equivalent of digital footage?

a couple weeks ago a girl at my job got her shoelace stuck in the escalator, I had to hit the emergency stop button. It was really snagged in there, we had to get the security guard to pull it out because the two of us weren’t strong enough

He’s a real hero. Maybe she’ll ask for his number…

And the other mall goers point and gawp (or laugh or record for tiktok) instead of even trying to find and hit the emergency stop button, that sounds about right

I know where the emergency shutoff switches are at all the gas stations I regularly patronize, but it’s never even occurred to me to look for an equivalent safety switch for an escalator. Where are they usually located? Half a block away?

Monty’s just a pants half on kind of guys.
