So the first flag idea got rejected. Who knew?

Honor and gratitude to all who have served and those who have loved them. Prayers for the fallen and hope for the injured and those who have cared for them.

It’ll take a lot of work to make a flag with lots of stars and stripes, I’m not sure she has the constitution for it.

I saw on Bugs Bunny how she got her inspiration for the stars in a circle

My great aunt got her citizenship and one of the questions she was asked “ what is Independence Day?” Her answer in broken English was “ that’s when they shoot the booma boom.” Italians and others actually had to obey our laws.

Even Betsy had to earn her stripes.

Love it! It would have been much more appropriate on 14 June, which is Flag Day, but most folks seem to have forgotten about that. Thanks for the laugh.

Still, we can hang it on the capitol building.
