I take it, Wren isn’t gonna like what she’s having for dinner.

Wanda’s pupil is floating in space.

And a side of food fight.

It is good to learn how to manipulate people so you’ll recognize when people are doing it to you.

(Not that anyone would ever do with anyone else.)

That’s why you need to show ‘em early on that _you’re_ the boss. Otherwise, they’ll end up like Wren: In awkward situations where they get their ways because they’ll scream otherwise.

Will it make the meatloaf taste better? (BTW I like my wife’s meatloaf sans tantrum)

Need a Sippy cup = Need a booster chair.

I’m glad this is a comic because in real life this would be ridiculous!

So is it an anti-meatloaf or a general mood for the day tantrum that arrived at dinner time?

Why would Wren throw a tantrum after being put in her booster seat?

Why would she need a booster seat? If you use a high chair then they have no other option than to sit at the height of the chair. There is only two choices then, eat or don’t eat. Problem solved.

You never know what might set off a toddler. In this case, a booster seat.

Seems like a bad precedent to me.

No dinner and in your room real fast.

Like a bat out of hell she’ll be mad when the Meatloaf comes…

I would still prefer Wren on the booster seat. The tantrums are kinda cute.

Keep coddling and giving in Wanda, she’ll be fine.. not. One of mine threw tantrums when I gave her what she wanted or not and because I wasn’t consistently firm with her she’s an angry manipulative adult.

I thought babies liked being up high where they can look grown-ups in the eye.

I’m guessing the ‘Terrible Twos’, which actually begins at about 18 months. In reality a response to frustration. They know what they want to do etc, but aren’t quite able to do it yet. Knowing that makes it more understandable and sympathetic, but no easier to deal with!
