Seeing a blue jay doesn’t see very lucky to me. Those things are bad-tempered.

ours kept running into airliners, here. u.s. wildlife dept did million dollar nest removals, except of the king eagle. he left on his own when queen met a landing gear at 100 knots. nearly killed 16 people. to their babies to west mount reserve. happy ending: not at airport, but new queen rides the skies here. we have peregrines, too. It is good to have friends in high places.

Pretty sure the ranges of blue jays and acorn woodpeckers don’t overlap.

Sunny has definitely got the hookup.

Acorn Woodpeckers are not found west of the Mississippi River. Blue Jays are rarely found west of the Rockies.

That’s sure a nice eagle.

The Osprey has a wider wingspan, but the Bald Eagle is much more striking.
