Is an upside down elephant at risk the way those large tortoises get when flipped on their back ?  If the big guy died Ollie will cry river of tears enough to wash the warehouse right off its decaying foundation.

Baxter also has difficulties with the size of the litter box.

Of course there was, it’s made out of packing crates. The kitties have no money for real furniture. It’s okay Baxter, the Warehouse next door has plenty.

Q: An elephant is sitting in a chair. What time is it?

A: It’s time to get a new chair.

Okay, I know that’s a corny riddle, but this strip made me think of it.

Today is:

National Raspberry Day. I love raspberries, but don’t have any right now.

National Freezer Pop Day. I do have freezer pops in my freezer, So I could do this.

International Skinny Dip Day. Nope, no way. I don’t skinny dip (except in my own bathtub).

National Chocolate With Almonds Day I prefer my chocolate plain, without almonds. Or with crispy rice cereal (I’m thinking of a Nestle Crunch bar…yummy).

Oliver is so sweet. He reminds me of my calico Sara. She’s just that sweet too. Maybe Oliver could have an imaginary elephant friend? They don’t tend to crush furniture so badly.

Awwww! Poor Baxter. ☹️

Now, THIS arc is very, very cute! I like these side excursions. Graham doesn’t have to keep coming up with new things about 10 cats in a warehouse, and he can indulge his side fantasies!

I think Baxter would love the nice green dog park – plenty to eat, and a nice ride for Oliver. Chez would be SOOOO jealous!

They’re going to have a heck of a time finding pachyderm sized beds and chairs. As far as I know, neither Petco nor Petsmart sell elephant furniture. On another note, saw eight robins, a sparrow, a damselfly, a butterfly, and a Swainson’s thrush while out walking today.
