If no one is quitting then there is no need to overhaul.

Of course, you can always quit if you don’t like the package as it is.

Employee incentive program: Work or get fired.

Employee benefits package – You have employees, they are driven to work hard, the boss makes lots of money! That’s the benefit of having employees.

This is my company’s attitude of late…

It’s why I quit this week. :-\

One positive about Covid19 is that people have discovered they can work from home. Companies that don’t have good benefits and hybrid work from home plans are having a very hard time finding and keeping employees.

Brutus lives to fight another day .

Talk about setting a very low bar. I’ve often wondered what it’s like to be a person whom the company needs more than he/she needs them. Talk about being in the cat bird seat.

In capitalism, you pay your workers barely enough so they don’t quite starve to death and you don’t have to spend money on training a new worker.

There will be no change in the benefits package.

Talk about a born loser. Just yesterday Brutus seemed to have a week’s vacation off at the beach. And today Brutus is back at the office trying to negotiate a new salary!

“Veeblefester always quick and to the point”, thinks Brutus…

Those constant threats of firing him are idle threats, the Chief knows he’d never be able to find someone else to take his abuse.

Chief is quite the fast talker for Brutus.

Brutus showed a lot of gumption bringing this issue up with Veeblefester and a lot of savy allowing it to ride.

Where I worked (and I loved it) everyday was almost like a referendum on your employment for the next day. As it should be.

Oh my goodness. The Chief is actually smiling while Brutus is in his presence! Maybe gas? He no doubt finds his retort to be both suitably humorous and demeaning. Brutus should’ve stayed at the beach.
