Maybe Liz, you won’t miss your brother for too much longer. I have a feeling that boy in the green shirt at the camp wants to ask you out on a date!

    Tune in tomorrow.

I don’t miss a pest, but I sympathize with those who do.

“Hassles about the phone”? Kids who are the ages that we’re supposed to pretend these are have never dealt with that. Funny how Lynn changes years when they come up in dialogue but not lines like this that date the strip just as badly.

Being noticed can be more important than being picked on

We were best buds until we hit our teens (typical) then we were at odds, and didn’t talk for nearly 35 years. We talk now and then in messenger, but I love her, she is my sister after all, and though our lives are very different. She has my respect and a few organs should she need one.

There are some similarities between this and “Luann”. Both Liz and Luann have bothersome brothers but they missed them when the brothers were out of sight.

Yeah, no more phone calls to eavesdrop on, no more of Mike’s toothbrush to use on Farley, no more getting treated like royalty while Mike catches all Cru-Elly’s wrath…

Sad thing is, once they leave, things won’t be the same when they do come back for their visits…..

On the camping trip with the Enjos and Elizabeth is apparently spending her time moping about Michael leaving. I question her sense of priorities.

I doubt she’ll miss the teasing, but she sure will miss having someone else to blame. April’s still too young to be blamed for much.

It’s easier to get along with your siblings when you aren’t under the same roof.

My sister and I were always close growing up then as we got older, she is 18 months older than me, we started the typical teenager fighting over everything. Then when I got married and moved out it seemed like we got close again and then she moved in with me and my then husband and over the years it was off and on as to if we got along living together again. Then when he left me and it was just her and me we got real close, she was always there for me to cry to and share my deepest feelings on end of my marriage but for some reason all of sudden she changed and started getting verbally, emotionally and even started getting physically abusive towards me and after 2 months of that and dealing with ex I ended up commiting myself to mental hospital for suicidal thoughts and she ended up going in a nursing home because I couldn’t take care of her health problems with my health problems and she was falling and I couldn’t get her uup so had to have EMT come at couple times a week. Now it has been 3 years that she is in nursing home that is 1 1/2 hours away, only place at time that was taking new patients because of Covid and local homes don’t have any rooms available, and she is still mad at me and my parents for putting her their and it seems I am the one she is maddest at and anytime we talk on the phone she starts a fight with me. But, she is my sister and I will always love her and when the nursing home calls Dad with health updates on her and it is something bad I cry and pray that she will be ok, like 2 years ago just about eveyone in nursing home got Covid and I was afraid we might lose her but she stayed asystomatic and just this week they called Dad and said that she is having real bad swellling in her legs and are going to do a scan to make sure it isn’t a blood clot and I have been scared and crying for two days worrying about this. Just remember even if you and your sibling(s) don’t get along you are always family and will always need each and love each other.

I don’t think my younger brother was sad when I went away to college. Probably happy to have his own bedroom. He did come to my fraternity at college and decided he wanted to so that, so he focused more on his studies and his GPA.
