I knew it. There’s the epilogue with the explanation. Well, sort of an explanation.

And that ends the Old Jingles story arc. Personally, I hope the next arc will be more in line with the slice of life style this comic originally started with, because honestly Crabgrass is not the kind of comic to use science fiction or magical plot elements, and we already had two of such arcs now in barely a year. Before 2023, the only supernatural arc was the one with the wrestling mascots, and in that arc the supernatural elements were all in Gene’s subplot, which was balanced out by the more grounded subplot of Kevin and Miles.
