Oh, be careful, bear!!
I guessed wrong as that is not (very young) Boog’s name on that kid’s shirt.
Why does he keep repeating his favorite art movement?
Just wait until he sings about the bare necessities.
Let’s hope it’s not bear season!
What is it with kids plastering their names on their shirts in huge letters in this strip?
This kid seems a little big to have a one ‘word’ vocabulary.

Gasoline Alley “years ago today” for August 5:
100 (1923) – We take a break from the cross-country race
80 (1943) – Mr. Jeepers checks Jessica’s work; plus, war news of this date
75 (1948) – Nina gets Skeezix to explain what he’s worried about
60 (1963) – Walt argues with Pert about the result of the horse race
BONUS: 45 (1978) – Melba finds something while cleaning the cabin cellar
From GoComics: “Readers return daily for this positive slice of life, with universal themes and commonplace situations.” So how does a talking bear holding a todler’s hand jive with “commonplace situations”?
