A coworker ended up with not a sock, but a lacey pair of underwear from the previous dryer load. Wifey was not happy at first but then she remembered having other random items in the laundry basket. Tru story!

I’m surprised Waldo or Nemo are not pinned to that wall.

Those who lost those socks must be heartbroken.

Some nice choices in that collection. Even some that could make interesting pairs for a Hallowe’en party.

I keep my missing socks next to my missing tupperware lids

It’s hard to fathom why people don’t simply wear 2 different mateless socks when they’re, say, puttering around the house.

Now where are those Tupperware lids?

Just south of Jackson, Wyoming, there is a laundromat called The Lost Sock Laundry.

Hope this helps someone, but…. I took the front panel of my dryer off and found a boat load of socks that my dryer “ate” over 10 years. If you are missing clothes after doing laundry, trust me, they are in your dryer.
