It’s incredible how much a neighborhood can change in 3000 years!

Hard to believe the pyramids were ancient to the ancient Greeks.

I’m picturing some other even older fellows coming up and saying things like …

… “None of these pyramids used to be there.”

… and … “I remember when they were built.”

When we went there, I was amazed just how close the rest of the building were to the pyramids. I don’t know why I had it in my head that they were a fair bit away from homes. Only a matter of time before the buildings surround the pyramids

Things sure change in just a few thousand years.

Well. . .there goes the neighborhood. Tourist attractions also attract businesses lured by a fast buck, that exploit the popularity of the attraction.

You were just too wrapped up in other things to notice them going up a few thousand years ago.

And where is Shagat’s place?? He used to make the best kabobs.
