Everything? Not Everest? Dang, they probably took a wrong turn…

Those three were not the first to make it. Someone had to haul that sign all the way up there.

That snow looks pretty good right now.

For some, The Summit meant the arena for the NBA’s Houston Rockets…

I am reminded of two things; the sign in MASH w/all the distances to where people lived & the Scarecrow in “The Wizard of Oz” movie. (Where Dorothy meets him & he gives her “directions” to the Emerald City.)

Either that or the North Pole. Maybe the south pole.

Glad they made it.

Now that they’re up there, it’s everything except them.

I watched a documentary about the men who walked on the moon. At one point one of them (I don’t remember who) was outside the capsule with a colleague on the Moon Buggy and, stepping away from the vehicle, had both the buggy and the capsule in his field of vision, with the earth in the background. His thought was “OK, there’s one there, and another one there, and six billion over there. Yep, that’s everybody.”

It only took 6 days to set up this bit of humor. True skill in stretching out a funny.
