That would probably do it! For extra assurance, add a slice of a pungent cheese.

My grandfather liked onion, Limburger and sardines on pumpernickel for pretty much for the same reason.

My ’"she’s not my girlfriend" walked in the other day and made herself a garlic sandwich. Perfect opportunity to unload the jar of garlic spread my late wife kept around.

Rule in my place, the first time you are an honoured guest, after that you should know where everything is, clean up after yourself and put stuff back where I keep it not where you think it belongs.

I often put sardines in my lunch box, cleared the break room out. Kimchi had the same effect.

Hard boiled eggs and baked beans work for me. ☺
