10 seasons to go, 20 to 25 43’ long episodes per season, that’s at least 157 hours of watching… if he plans to sleep in this bed, he better not be in a hurry.
She’s partially right. There’s been no tele in television since we stopped using modems. Remember back when it took too weeks to download an episode of Full House? I used to save time and just download the ASCII text version.
Had Betty, in this arc, told Bud “I’m going to go watch TV,” only for him to find her stretched out in bed with a laptop and headphones, the same people calling her a hypocrite would be griping that she apparently doesn’t know what a TV is.
If she didn’t sound so judgmental and condescending in the first part of this thread she wouldn’t come across as such a hypocrite. I’d be perturbed if I were Bub but it could be much much worse

I’ve never before seen Bub call out Betty on her hypocrisy. Interesting…

My wife almost never watches the TV upstairs, as her computer has three screens. They do make it impossible to take into the bedroom, which is fine.

There are probably people who think like that… it’s a computer, not a TV so it’s different!

I have this sneaking suspicion.

Ooh, are we actually about to have a storyline in which Betty is wrong and Bud is right about something? There’s a first for everything!

Her logic is as ironclad and meaningful as the logic of the many folks who defend the behavior of Betty.
