My father grew vegetables, he hated rabbits.

yes, the amthropamorphisation is for ""cute" value, not reality. I’ve never known anyone who grows vegetables to like animals eating their produce.

Greens will go nicely with rabbit-stew.

This was my father’s philosophy and his gardens always produced abundantly.

Rabbits need to eat too. Over half my harvest feeds rabbits…and I am fine with that.

The RABBITS are the ones who won’t share. You’ll come back tomorrow, and everything will be gone!

Carrots wait for no one,

I installed an electric fence around a garden. The chipmunk under the porch cursed at me.

Mr. McGregor she is not.

And have some hasenpfeffer for dinner.

BUNNIES!
