The chipmunks must have ganged up and beat up the squirrels. Taking over the bird feeder.

Chipmunks? Never had that kind of problem with chipmunks. Squirrels – yes, but chipmunks – no. Chipmunks would burrow into areas by the house, along side porch steps, sidewalks, and flower beds and they would climb up downspouts … but they never got up into our bird feeder (when we had one).

I don’t mind the chipmunks as much as I do the squirrels. And at the end of the day, I have to store my suet ball feeders inside or the raccoons will tear them apart. I also have to do that with my hummingbird feeder.

Does this mean another Ross Bagdasarian production is on the way?

My daughter has ‘chipmunk’ issues too. I have squirrel issues.

The blue jays have taken over my cat’s food bowl! Pooping all over my patio. Never had this issue the first 46 years here!

Some have suggested that the Wright Brothers’ invention was never intended to fly; it was designed to be a squirrel-proof bird feeder.

In Texas USA dove season opens next Friday and the doves have been fattening up for the occasion on my sunflower seed feeders.

The skunks have taken over the feral cats’ food dishes at night; wish they’d go back to stuffing themselves with the gazillion grasshoppers that live here!
