He won’t shut up!!!

That last panel in today’s installment seems to indicate that an individual must be able to read in order to understand what another individual is saying in the comics world, or at least in the Nancyverse.

Sluggo may find Nancy just a bit more attractive when she;s a bit more blurred.

A friend told me I should get my eyes checked. I told her I would prefer them plaid.

unless it’s so bad you can’t read what the person said.

Not only is she going blind,she’s going comic deaf.

Everybody in comics is deaf! They have to read the balloons to understand what’s been said, Who knew?

This time Sluggo is totally wrong.

I love this strip; however, Fritzi’s tortoise-like nostrils haunt my dreams.

James Thurber was legally blind without his glasses. He wrote a great piece about how fun it was when he lost or broke them. He loved the blurry universe.

Thanks for the reminder that I need to have cataract surgery.

And here I thought the biggest problem would be not being able to read subtitles on movies and shows.
