Tash led me to the Midnight Oasis, where the fighting was intense. All around me I could hear cries of “GIT!” Were the moles gitting? I couldn’t be sure. I saw a gold-colored mouse who appeared to be recording the battle. I asked if she was one of the Ancient and Accepted Procurers. She told me yes, she was Agneta, the reporter.

“I’m here with my sister Alsace, and my friends Viola and Tash.” she said.

“I’m looking for my true love, Growl Tiger. Tash brought me here, she said this is where he was.” I told her.

Just then, a lady mole popped up from a tunnel. I was ready to shout “GIT!” when she raised a paw.

“Wait!” she called. “I’m one the leader of the Mole Resistance fighters! I’m on your side!”

“Don’t worry, you can trust her.” Agneta reassured me.

“The battle is fierce, but we will prevail. Thanks to Growl Tiger.” The mole said. “Allow me to introduce myself, I’m Lisa, and right over there is your true love.”

And there he was. I gave him my slow blink, and he returned the blink.

Beatrixia: We need to get Beaver Lee Cleary. She’ll really be interested in this. I’ll go get her.

Elvis: We’ll save you some scones.
