I have a hypothesis that only time will tell. Texting is extremely important to the younger generation. It is the basis for communication.

It is also the basis of courtship and in accordance with Darwin’s theories, those who text the best are most likely to attract mates.

This may lead to a race of people with overly developed thumbs.

Therefore, sometime in the future, I can envision a couple of boys hanging out at the mall and watching a girl walk by and one of them nudging the other and saying, “Get a load of the thumbs on HER!”
